The charm of Union Square

Y'll seen my post about friday night, right?(http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ya'll)

No, clovek bi si mislil, da se ti tak vecer zgodi izjemoma, enkrat na nekaj mesecev, right? Ne v New Yorku...:) Z Majo sva se predvcerajsnim spet dobili na U.Sq in po kratkem sprehodu po okoliskih ulicah sva se zasidrali na stopnicah. Naekrat zacne kapljati ista ekipa kot prejsnji petek, glasbeniki naredijo prostor sredi trga in zacno s saksom in bobni in zbrana druscina plesalcev spet naredi nakljucni show:) Vibe je izjemen, vsi si pridejo sem napolniti baterije in se druziti, to je res kraj, ki mi je v celem New Yorku morda najbolj ljub in blizu.

Medtem ko pisem tale blogpost(ampak res dobesedno medtem, kaksno nakljucje!), nek znanec na facebooku komentira fotko izpred nekaj dni s stopnic Union Squara, njegove besede najlepse povedo to, kar hocem tu razloziti:

these dancers. some lousy ..some cool.. but since you are sitting down you clap for all of them.. there is always a march.. someone is always picking about something.. well here is an idea.. you want to have a march? you have a cause? and no one to follow you? write in big letters on a card board..walk by union square.. stand there.. now you have an audience.. your movement starts right there..
union square is sacred ground..

the idea came to me one nigh.. because i ran into a long time friend of mine.. kenny legagneur.. he said ah! frantz in union square.. you must have stuff on your mind.. i said how you figure that? he said; well you are in union square.. this place is theraphy.. i pause for a moment and thought to myself.. that is true.. i do come here to chase away my demonds.. to breath.. there will always be a dude who is here for only a weekend.. and he will remind you how unique nyc is.. UNION SQUARE is the chakra of manhathan..
